Dear Ram Families,
This is our last week before Winter Break! Over the break please remember that learning is still critical. Students often have gaps in their learning when their minds do not stay active over breaks. Please do the following with your scholar:
Have your K-1 scholar review letters and letter sounds.
Have your K-1 scholar count to 100 each day.
All students should be read to daily or read 20 minutes daily. When they read ask them questions about what they have read and help them understand the meaning of new words.
Visit a museum, park, or library and have them write about their experiences.
2-5 students should practice math skills by practicing math facts with flashcards, counting money, checking the weather daily, and measuring when helping you or a family member cook.
Keep them active and minimize screen time.
Lastly, we still have a large number of coats in the cafeteria. Have your scholar check for their missing coats before they are donated to the Clothing for Cash Box in January. Remember to always label all coats and belongings with your child’s name.
Thank you for your continued support!
